Allseas Global Logistics, a UK-based freight forwarding company, is to operate a new service between Bangladesh and North Europe, using three ships 1,500-1,800 TEU. Allseas, via DKT Allseas, is currently active as a vessel operator in the China-UK trade only, through its May 2021-launched China X-Press service. The rotation of the new service is to include: Chittagong, Rotterdam and Liverpool.
Only a few months ago, another freight forwarder, Italy-based Rif Line, started a similar operation between Bangladesh and Italy, which it now runs via its recently-established subsidiary Kalypso. Also, Switzerland-based maritime services provider Commodities Supplies AG has chartered ships for a new service between Bangladesh, the Mediterranean and North Europe.
