Later this year, after a substantial delay, Cork plans to open its new 330,000 TEU container terminal at Ringaskiddy (location). It is to replace the old downtown Tivoli Container Terminal. Initially it will offer 360 metres of quay line equipped with two gantry cranes (18 boxes outreach) with a depth of 13 metres alongside. It will cover an area of 13.5 ha. See also DL 09/20
