Early next year, MSC Air Cargo will literally take off after it receives the first of what will be four MSC branded new Boeing 777-200F aircraft. All four pieces of equipment will be owned by Atlas Air Worldwide who will also provide technical management and operation under a long-term aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance agreement (ACMI). Once the service starts, MSC will have joined fellow container carriers Maersk and CMA CGM as a commercial air cargo operator.
