Fujian Haixia High-Speed Roll-on/off Passenger Ship Co Ltd has started a container service between the Chinese port of Pingtan, near Fuzhou, and the ports of Taipei and Taichung in Taiwan. It will be operated by a vessel of 375 TEU.

In Pingtan, the ship will be handled at the new container terminal at Jinjingwan Wharf, which stretches along a 700-metre quay line equipped with a  with a single StS gantry crane.
