Ashdod is progressing with the upgrade of 850-metre platform 21. The western part is being outfitted for handling grain, whilst on the eastern part a container berth will be created capable of handling ships of up to 400 metres. Depth along the container berth will be increased to 17.5 metres. Five mega cranes will be delivered in October 2022
