Shandong Ports has commissioned its first fully-automated container terminal at Rizhao, adjacent to the existing container facilities (location) and on the location of a former bulk terminal. It stretches along a quay line of 800 metres and will be equipped with eight remote-controlled StS gantries and sixteen automated stacking cranes (ASC).
