Whilst the main DynaLiners Shares Index was barely changed with a 7-point and 0.4% loss to 1,940, three of the sector indices did post growth with DLSI Owners and DLSI Boxes both seeing improvements north of 40 points. However, the most influential DLSI Carriers index still dropped 59 points (-1.8%) to 3,174.

Honours were almost even at an individual level as 59 companies saw their shares improve whilst 57 experienced share price falls. The average change was a marginal 0.4% gain. Indian companies led the charge with block train and domestic shipping operator Concor’s stock growing by 15%. That of compatriot Adani Ports grew by 12% with Gujarat Pipavav port (not shown) a further percentage point behind. At the other end of the scale, shares of another Indian company, box manufacturer Trans Freight Containers, and of Vietnam Maritime Corporation, lost 8%.
